 Let me tell you! I have been experiencing my best Wash N’ Go’s this year! I remember watching so many YouTubers share how they achieved their bomb Wash N’ Go styles over the years, but simply never tried to achieve my own routine. When I would do my Wash N’ Go’s back in the day, I never rocked them long enough to reap the benefits. Also, if you’ve been in the Natural Hair Community for even a lil while, you’ve also experienced the countless individuals that tell you NOT to rock a Wash N’ Go! I believed those individuals for years and thought wearing my hair out would cause breakage, damage my hair health, and would hurt my hair growth. LIES PEOPLE….ALL LIES…Well for me. I decided to rock more Wash N’ Go’s this year because its so simple and I grew tired of so much tension on my hair with some of my protective style choices. I also said to myself, “You cut your hair those years ago so you could see your curls, and you never wear your hair curly!” I started my Wash N’ Go routine and my hair has been thriving and growing like crazy! I want to share with y’all my top 5 products for Wash N’ Go’s, in the order of maximum hold ability. I’ve noticed, stronger hold, longer wear. I’ve worn a Wash N’ Go for 2 weeks straight before! Life Saver! *Please note whenever I say wet hair it does not mean soaking wet.* *Click Images for product links* 1. Maximum Hold- Wetline Xtreme Professional Styling Gel  This gel will give you that wet look. It really holds whatever style you want your hair in. I achieved the 2 week Wash N’ Go with this one! You will have the hard hold on the first day or 2, but as the week progresses the curls get softer and bouncier, remaining shape! Also, the container it comes in is huge, so it will last a long time! I suggest applying on damp to dry hair for best results. 2. Medium Hold- Dippity~Do Girls With Curls Gelée  This gel is so cool to me. Day 1 you will have some hold after applying, but as the day goes, it is able to keep hold without feeling hard! This product is from way back in the day and still known to get great results. I have even seen people use it on a roller set! Wild! I suggest applying on wet to damp hair. 3. Light Hold- Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic Curl Stimulator  This discovery was mind blowing when I first tried it. Something about that Aloe Vera Juice inside works miracles on the hair! I love that it comes in a pump which makes applying just the right amount easy. I have used this on wet, damp, and dry hair and have seen it work great with all. 4. Soft Hold- Carol's Daughter Coco Créme Coil Enhancing Moisture Butter  This stuff right here! I had never seen a cream give such a great Wash N’ Go. A little of this product goes a long way, and smells great. Carol’s Daughter products have always treated my hair right. I love that this cream works well on my hair and my boys hair. Its one of those products that plays well with all curl types. So far I’ve only used the product on wet hair. 5. Feather Hold- Curls Créme Brule Whipped Curl Cream  I first discovered Curls products years ago back when I lived in NC. Their products always smell so good, and do just what they say they will do! I use this when I want my curls to be moisturized, and popping without any hardness of hold. Curls keep shape and are always soft to the touch. I suggest using on wet to damp hair.
